Ambassador of Spain presents copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian
19 September, 2009On September 19, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Juan Antonio March Pujol, the newly appointed Ambassador of Spain to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.
Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian wished him every success in his diplomatic mission and expressed hope that during his term in office, the Ambassador will have his important contribution in the deepening and expansion of bilateral relations in different areas.
In his turn Ambassador Pujol stressed that he will do his best for the development and enforcement of the existing cooperation.
In the course of the meeting the two attached importance to the intensification of political dialogue between the two countries, development of trade, as well as expansion of cooperation in cultural, educational and tourism areas, formation of legal field.
At the meeting Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Pujol also touched upon Armenia-European Union relations and the possibiities of bilateral cooperation within that framework.
The two also discussed several regional and international issues.
