Ambassador of Russia presents the copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian

On August 24, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Vyacheslav Kovalenko, the newly appointed Ambassador of Russian Federation to Armenia on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Minister Nalbandian congratulated Mr. Kovalenko and wished him success in his diplomatic mission. Edward Nalbandian highly appreciated Armenian-Russian relationship and said that the mutual understanding, confidence and close cooperation between Armenia and Russia create solid basis for strengthening of allied and strategic partnership in favour of two peoples. Minister Nalbandian also said that Ambassador Kovalenko will have his personal contribution in the further expansion of cooperation.

Expressing his gratitude for the high-level relations between Armenia and Russia Ambassador Kovalenko stressed that he will do his best for strengthening of existing cooperation and further development of bilateral cooperation in different areas.

In the course of the meeting Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Kovalenko discussed several issues concerning Armenian-Russian bilateral agenda as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues.
