On July 4, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Senator Bernard Piras, Mayor of Bourg-les-Valence of the  French Drom region.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian thanked the Mayor Piras for his efforts aimed at the establishment of closer cooperation between twin towns Bourg-les-Valence and Talin. Armenian Foreign Minister attached importance to deepening and strengthening of decentralized cooperation between France and Armenia.

On his turn Bernard Piras highly appreciated Armenian-French relations and emphasized the importance of the French Armenians’ particpation for the development  of  Bourg-les-Valence.

The two touched upon the cooperation of Armenian Parliament and French Senate  In this context Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated Senator Bernard Piras’ personal contribution to development of relations between the parliaments.
