On June 25, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Mrs. Marcela Maria Nicodemos, the newly appointed Ambassador of Brazil to Armenia on the occasion of presenting the copies of her credentials.

Minister Nalbandian congratulated Mrs. Nicodemos and wished every success in her diplomatic mission and expressed hope that the new Ambassador of friendly Brazil will substantially contribute the deepening and strengthening of bilateral cooperation.

On her turn Mrs. Nicodemos stressed that Brazil has a specific sympathy towards Armenia and Armenians and that the authorities of her country intend to take serious steps towards the development of comprehensive relations with Armenia.

In the course of talks Armenian Foreign Minister and Ambassador of Brazil discussed issues concerning the intensification of political dialogue and mutual visits, the economic and cultural cooperation, the expansion of legal field and the intensification of interparliamentary ties.
