On May 25, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed Ambassador of Norway Mr. Knut Hauge to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

In his welcoming remarks Foreign Minister Nalbandian wished a success to the Ambassador in his diplomatic mission and expressed hope that the appointment of new Ambassador will enhance the expansion of cooperation between Armenia and Norway in bilateral and multilateral formats. The Minister stressed that Armenia is interested in the development and deepening of political and economic relations with Norway.

The two attached importance to the intensification of mutual visits between, further development of economic, educational and cultural cooperation.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Hauge discussed number of regional and international issues.
