Consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Bulgaria held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia

On October 30 consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Bulgaria were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian.


Welcoming the Bulgarian delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister Milen Keremedchiev, Dr. Kirakossian highly appreciated Armenian-Bulgarian friendly relations and stressed the importance that that Armenia attaches to the further development and deepening of bilateral relationship. Within that context Deputy Minister Kirakossian stressed the need to utilize the entire potential of bilateral economic cooperation.
In the course of the meeting the delegations touched upon wide range of issued concerning the development of bilateral cooperation.
They underlined their readiness to expand the solid legal field that already exists between Armenia and Bulgaria.
During the consultations the two also discussed the perspectives of Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation in international organizations.

The issues of Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation within the framework of Armenia-EU relations were also on the agneda.
