Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanyan visited Tehran

On July 29-30 Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanyan visited Tehran to participate in the 15th conference of Foreign Ministers of "Non-Aligned Movement" countries, where Armenia has  the status of observer.
In the framework of the conference  Gegham Gharibjanyan, had separate conversations and with the Foreign Ministers of Belarus, Turkmenistan, Lebanon, Syria, as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait.
In the course of discussion they touched upon the current issues concerning the bilateral relations between Armenia and   mentioned countries.
Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister had a meeting with Manoucher Mottaki, the Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic of Iran. During the conversation Gegham Gharibjanyan presented him the gratitude letter of  of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, for the proposal of Islamic Republic of Iran to include the Armenian Monasteries St. Stephen, St. Apostle Thaddaeus's and Tsor Tsor Chapels, that are situated in Eastern and Western Atropatena, in the list of UNESCO World Heritage.
Minister Mottaki, in his turn, reiterated the dates of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian's visit to Tehran.
The two also discussed the issues of mutual interest. 
Taking into account the fact that Minister Mottaki is the president of Armenian - Iranian intergovernmental commission, the two once again discussed the agreements acquired during the previous joint session of the commission and some issues concerning the upcoming 8th session provisioned in Tehran
