Lithuanian Ambassador Presents Copies of Credentialsto Minister Nalbandian

On April 30, Giedrius Apuokas, the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia, presented his copies of credentials to Minister Nalbandian.

After welcoming Ambassador Apuokas, Minister Nalbandian wished him good luck in his high mission. The Minister said that Armenia is interested in strengthening cooperation between the two countries, and in this context, opening Embassy in Armenia will be an impetus to further development of the bilateral relations. Amenia-Lithuania relations, he said, will also boost Armenia-EU relationship.

In his turn, the Ambassador stressed, that the relations between Armenia and Lithuania have always been warm. He attached importance to deepening multilateral relations with Armenia and establishing close ties between Ministries. Ambassador also that he will pay much attention to developing trade and economic, as well as cultural bonds.
