On November 9, 2007, the new ambassador of Greece, Ioannis Korinthios, presented copies of his credentials to Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian.

Welcoming the ambassador, the minister wished him success in his mission.

Oskanian also talked about his satisfaction with Armenia’s bilateral relations with Greece, especially in the fields of politics and economy.

The two then stated the necessity of economic ties between their countries becoming more active and discussed the opportunities to implement joint programs.
