On September 10,2007, the new ambassador of Egypt, Vahid El Din Ismail Galal, presented copies of his credentials to Minister Oskanian.

Welcoming the ambassador, the minister wished him success in his mission.

Minister Oskanian gratefully acknowledged the technical cooperation demonstrated by the Egypt Fund for Technical Cooperation with the CIS, European and Islamic states, thanks to which, during the past 14 years, many Armenian officials have had the opportunity to receive continuing education in Egypt.

Oskanian also stated his satisfaction with Armenia’s bilateral relations with Egypt, especially in the fields of culture and economy. The two then stated the necessity of economic ties between their countries becoming more active.
