On March 23, Minister Oskanian received EU Special Representative Peter Semneby, who was in Armenia on a regional visit.

During the meeting, the two discussed some regional issues, as well Armenia’s relations with its neighbors.

Minister Oskanian and Ambassador Semneby also spoke of the upcoming Parliamentary elections in Armenia, stressing the importance of their meeting international standards.

The colleagues also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Nagorno - Karabakh conflict settlement process.

Ambassador Heike Peitsch of Germany, which took up the EU presidency on January 1, was present at the meeting.
