In recent days the armed forces of Azerbaijan have intensified their provocative actions against the Armed Forces of Armenia and the armed units of the Defense Army of Artsakh. 

On August 9, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Armen Grigoryan received Stanislav Zas, the Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

On August 9-10 the delegation headed by the CSTO Secretary-General Stanislav Zas will be in Armenia. 

We welcome the approaches of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship regarding the resumption of the peace process, presented in their joint statement issued on July 29.  

Armen Grigoryan stressed the need for immediate repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians illegally detained in Azerbaijan, and underlined the inadmissibility of their prоsecution under false charges by the Azerbaijani authorities.
