On March 6, Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian had a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Iran Muhammad Javad Zarif.  

The interlocutors touched upon issues of regional security and stability. In this context, the sides underlined the prospects of cooperation aimed at addressing new regional challenges.  

On October 3, another round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Yerevan.

On October 29, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan received the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi, who is on a working visit in Yerevan.

On September 11, at the initiative of the Armenian side, a phone conversation was held between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Mohammad Javad Zarif.   

On July 14, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif.

On March 25, at the initiative of Armenian side, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsaknayan held a phone conversation with Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Foreign Minister of Iran. 

The parties exchanged views on steps to be taken to further deepen and enrich the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Iran.  

On January 5, at the initiative of the Iranian side, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran -   Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Javad Zarif held a phone conversation.

On February 16, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Munich.
