We strongly condemn the statement made by the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Anar Karimov (February 3) on the establishment of a working group for the destruction and alteration  of the identity of the Armenian religious and historical-cultur

On November 26, 2021, the Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of Russia and the President of Azerbaijan signed a statement in Sochi, which is public and available on the internet. 

Accordingly the proposals of the Armenian side are not about preconditions, but the implementation of the agreements reached.

32 years ago during these days mass pogroms against Armenians began in Baku, which became the culmination of the policy of annihilation and forcible displacement of the Armenian population living in Azerbaijani SSR.

In our opinion, the Turkish government also shares the approach of starting the dialogue without preconditions.

We call on the Azerbaijani authorities to refrain from provocative actions and implement their commitment on establishing stability in the region undertaken as a result of the Brussels meeting and with the Trilateral Statement of Sochi.

Today, Republic of Armenia and the United States of America celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.  

Question: Will the Government of Armenia evacuate the citizens of Armenia from Kazakhstan?

We are following the armed clashes taking place in Kazakhstan with concern. The information about the infiltration of terrorist groups is alarming. We strongly condemn the violence and are convinced that it cannot be a path of solving political issue

Armenia has always been and remains ready for the process of normalization of relations with Turkey without preconditions, which is enshrined in the program of the Government of Armenia.
