Foreign Minister of Armenia particularly noted in his speech: “Dear Miroslav, I am very excited to be here, at this ceremony of the opening of the Slovak Embassy in Armenia. The diplomatic community in Armenia is expanding, which is very exciting, and I am sure that the Slovak embassy will find the joy of being in Armenia, in Yerevan. Opening of the resident embassy very much reflects on the deep contacts of bilateral friendship and relationship that have been developing.

Since we established diplomatic  relations in 1993 the dynamics of our relations have been extraordinary. Your visit to Armenia is far from being the first one and our mutual cooperation, our work together has been very active. We have an interesting and very promising bilateral agenda. We have various levels of cooperation, be it at the governmental level, be it at the parliamentary level, be it  at the decentralized level of cooperation. We have existing opportunities to further expand the economic relations, and there are many common grounds that make us very confident about it.

I am absolutely sure that the Slovak Embassy in Yerevan will be very busy, because, due to the opening of the embassy the very comprehensive agenda of Armenian-Slovak relations will further develop. So a very warm welcome to Yerevan. Thank you very much for opening an embassy in Yerevan. This city is very welcoming. I am sure that there will be more opportunities for you to come to Yerevan and to continue investing in a good, important agenda. Welcome and thank you very much.”
