The second interim report submitted by the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh on the atrocities committed by Azerbaijan against the population of Artsakh was circulated through the diplomatic channels of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.

Minister Mnatsakanyan comprehensively briefed his interlocutor on the latest developments of the situation in Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone, emphasizing the importance to completely establish and strengthen the ceasefire regime.  

On 13 October, the regular Eastern Partnership Senior Officials Meeting took place via VTC; the Armenian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Avet Adonts.   

The efforts of the international community towards the protection of rights of national and religious minorities in the Middle East were particularly highlighted.

Minister Mnatsakanyan specifically stressed the necessity to introduce verification mechanisms on the ground as an important tool for the cessation of hostilities and strengthening that regime.
