On September 6, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Wendy Morton, UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for European Neighborhood and the Americas.

On September 6, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Igor Khovaev, the newly appointed Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.

US State Secretary Antony Blinken sent a congratulatory message to Ararat Mirzoyan on the occasion of assuming the position of the Foreign Minister of Armenia, noting:

The main issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed in an open and trusting environment, which also provided a wide scope for foreign policy coordination on multilateral platforms.
