On October 16, on the sidelines of the Leaders for Nature Summit, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of UNESCO.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to cooperation between Armenia and UNESCO, particularly in the fields of education, culture and cultural heritage preservation.

Minister Mirzoyan emphasized Armenia’s active engagement in existing programmes within the framework of UNESCO and the importance attached to its initiatives.

The role of UNESCO in strengthening mutual trust and promoting regional cooperation was highlighted.
