On September 25, in New York, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Davit Karapetyan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia, held a meeting with Comfort Ero, President and  CEO  of the International Crisis Group.

Davit Karapetyan presented the new realities and opportunities that have emerged in the South Caucasus following the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the steps undertaken by Armenia towards further strengthening and institutionalizing peace.

The unblocking of regional communications and the progress in the implementation of the TRIPP project were also touched upon.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing that diplomacy and negotiations are the only path towards achieving long-term and sustainable peace.

Davit Karapetyan and Comfort Ero also discussed opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the annual Yerevan Dialogue international forum.
