On September 24, in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein.

The interlocutors exchanged views on developments in the South Caucasus and the Middle East. The importance of unlocking the full opportunities provided by peace and, in this context, by the development of interregional connectivity was emphasized.

The growing dynamics of trade turnover between Armenia and Iraq was noted with satisfaction. An agreement was reached to continue promoting the export of Armenian products to Iraq, including agricultural products.

The Ministers of Armenia and Iraq also emphasized the importance of cooperation on issues on the agenda within multilateral platforms.
