On August 17, in Paris, consultations on African issues were held between the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the French Republic, co-chaired by Levon Petrosyan, Head of the Middle East and Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Olivier-Gabriel Richard, Deputy Director for Africa and the Indian Ocean at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.

The interlocutors discussed political and security developments on the African continent, issues of the regional and international agenda, as well as opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation on African direction and implementation of joint development projects in Africa.
