On July 6 Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia held a telephone conversation with Dag Hartelius, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

Dag Hartelius congratulated the Deputy Foreign Minister on the successful holding of the parliamentary elections in Armenia in line with high democratic standards, as well as on the victory achieved in the elections.

The interlocutors welcomed the growing momentum of political dialogue between Armenia and Sweden, expressing confidence that it would give new impetus to the further strengthening of bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as to the expansion of multifaceted cooperation.

The sides also exchanged views on the strategic agenda for the Armenia–European Union partnership, including measures to further enhance Armenia’s access to the European market and initiatives aimed at promoting regional connectivity.
