Roundtable discussion on the export of armenian flowers to the european market
25 June, 2026On June 25, as part of a working visit to the Netherlands, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan and Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Arman Khojoyan participated in a roundtable discussion in The Hague on the prospects for exporting Armenian flowers to the European market. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The discussion brought together representatives of the Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture, as well as Armenian and Dutch flower producers, logistics and brokerage companies, and representatives of Royal FloraHolland, the world's largest flower auction.
The participants underscored the importance of establishing long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation and expanding the participation of Armenian greenhouse enterprises in export activities. They also highlighted the Government of Armenia's support programmes aimed at fostering the development of the floriculture sector and facilitating access to international markets.
On June 26, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Deputy Minister Arman Khojoyan visited the headquarters of Royal FloraHolland, as well as two leading Dutch flower-producing companies, to gain first-hand insight into the auction system and supply chain, and to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation with Armenian producers and exporters.
