Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia with the Secretary General at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria
18 June, 2026On June 18, in Vienna, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Nikolaus Marschik, the Secretary General for Foreign Affairs at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria.
The interlocutors commended the high level of established cooperation between Armenia and Austria within bilateral and multilateral formats and exchanged views on prospects of deepening cooperation on issues of mutual interest across international organizations and multilateral platforms.
During the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan presented the efforts of Armenia aimed at institutionalization of peace established in the South Caucasus. The importance of implementing the TRIPP project was emphasized for leveraging the untapped logistical potential of the region.
The Deputy Foreign Minister briefed his counterpart on preparatory work in the lead-up to the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity to be hosted in Yerevan, as well as the preceding Leaders’ Summit.
