On June 15, in Luxembourg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Johann Wadephul.

Foreign Minister of Germany congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on the successful conduct of democratic elections in Armenia and the victory achieved therein, reaffirming Germany’s support for Armenia’s democratic development and its path toward European integration.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the Armenia-Germany bilateral partnership. Both sides emphasized the importance of joint efforts aimed at implementing the provisions of the Declaration on the Strategic Agenda of Bilateral Partnership, signed in December of last year.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Germany also exchanged views on advancing the Armenia-EU strategic agenda.

During the meeting regional developments were touched upon. Minister Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s vision regarding the process of normalization of relations with its neighbors.
