Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with Head of CIS Observation Mission
18 May, 2026On May 18, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan received a delegation, led by Head of CIS Observation Mission, Deputy Secretary General Nurlan Seytimov.
Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan touched upon the legislative reforms, initiated by the Government of Armenian, aimed at strengthening public trust, as well as improving institutional preparedness and electoral processes.
In the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, the Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed the commitment of Armenia to holding the elections in a free, fair and transparent manner in accordance with international standards.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also emphasized Armenia's commitment to provide all necessary conditions for the effective work of international observers. In this context, the importance of the transparent and impartial implementation of the activities of observation missions was emphasized.
