On May 4, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ahmed Gurbanov, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including plans for upcoming events and mutual visits, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.

The interlocutors also discussed the opportunities emerging from the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the prospects of importing fuel from Turkmenistan to Armenia.
