On February 25, in Geneva, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonsyan had a meeting with Gilles Carbonnier, the Vice-President of the ICRC.

In the context of post-conflict rehabilitation and reconciliation, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of resolving all outstanding humanitarian issues. In this vein, the imperative of addressing the issue of Armenian detainees in Baku, clarifying the fate of the missing persons and investigating cases of enforced disappearances was underscored.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan also highlighted that Armenia remains steadfast in its constructive policy and stands ready to contribute meaningfully to international humanitarian initiatives, maintaining the firm conviction that cooperation on humanitarian matters must not be subject to politicization.
