Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan received Head of the Armenian Office of the United Nations Children's Fund Christine Weigand

On January 30, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan received Head of the Armenian Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Christine Weigand on the occasion of the completion of her mission in Armenia.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia highly appreciated the cooperation established between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the United Nations Children's Fund Representation in Armenia, and the important role of Christine Weigand personally in achieving significant progress in the field of the protection of the rights of the child in Armenia.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of ensuring the continuity of programs aimed at realization of measures set out in the UNICEF Country Programme Document for cooperation with Armenia for the 2026-2030 period.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia expressed his gratitude to Christine Weigand for the active work of the United Nations Children's Fund Representation in Armenia and wished her success in her future endeavors.
