Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the “Hero of Our Times 2025” award ceremony.

Minister Mirzoyan presented the award to Ararat Virapyan, founder of the “ArtSoft” programming center operating in the city of Artashat.

While presenting the award, Ararat Mirzoyan noted in his remarks: “Today, we are here to honor the individual who believes in his idea, turns thought into a goal, and works tirelessly – sometimes unnoticed, but always with love and perseverance – toward its realization, overcoming difficulties and perhaps not even noticing along the way how his work takes shape day after day.

It is precisely this kind of dedication and effort that inspires others and yields results, gradually transforming into a public value and bringing about profound changes.

This applies to all spheres of life, but today I want to emphasize in particular the undeniable and creative connection between youth, even the most seemingly unbelievable ideas, the power of knowledge, technological development, and innovation. Innovation, which, it must be admitted, is no longer our future, it is our present, our everyday reality, our surroundings.

By conferring this award, we are emphasizing precisely this example, this individual.

I want to express my deep admiration and reverence to all the nominees for the “Hero of Our Times” award, and I have the honor of presenting one of those awards.
