Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Netherlands
12 December, 2025On December 11, in Yerevan, political consultations were held between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and the Netherlands, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan and Director-General for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Marcel de Vink.
The parties commended the high level of relations between the two countries and the dynamics of political dialogue.
Views were exchanged on upcoming initiatives in the areas outlined in the Armenia–Netherlands Strategic Partnership Declaration. Among other topics, the cooperation in countering hybrid threats was touched upon.
The interlocutors also discussed issues on the Armenia–EU Strategic Partnership agenda, stressing the importance of further deepening bilateral cooperation in this context.
Vahan Kostanyan presented new opportunities for developing economic cooperation in the region and beyond, arising under the peace conditions established between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the Washington Agreements of August 8 of the current year.
