On December 11 the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Davit Karapetyan met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece Teresa Angelatou.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for expanding effective Armenia–Greece bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of regular consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs and thematic cooperation between their respective departments.

The parties exchanged views on issues related to the Armenia–EU partnership agenda. In the context of deepening cooperation, Davit Karapetyan also highlighted the need to simplify visa issuance procedures for Armenian citizens entering EU member states.

Davit Karapetyan and Teresa Angelatou also touched upon recent regional developments, mutually emphasizing that the establishment of peace creates opportunities for the stability and prosperity of the entire region.
