On November 27, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia Margus Tsahkna.

Foreign Minister of Estonia informed Ararat Mirzoyan of the decision to open the Embassy of Estonia in Armenia in 2026. Minister Mirzoyan expressed his satisfaction regarding this important decision taken by Estonia, emphasizing that it truly reflects the strong partnership established between the two countries, as well as the mutual interest in further deepening the cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed specific projects aimed at advancing the bilateral as well as the ambitious Armenia-EU agenda. Views were exchanged on upcoming activities. Among other areas, issues of cooperation in combating hybrid threats were also touched upon.

In the context of regional developments, the opportunities arising from the implementation of the “TRIPP Route” connectivity project were touched upon.
