Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with foreign experts
28 October, 2025On October 28, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received the participants of the visit of journalists and experts to Armenia, organized by the “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO and the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs (CIDOB).
Minister Mirzoyan presented the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy.
The new realities established in the region following the agreements reached in Washington, DC, on August 8, were touched upon, including the importance of the initialed Peace Treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the unblocking of regional communications for the stability and development of the South Caucasus and the wider region.
Minister Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s vision regarding the unblocking of communications, which is reflected in the “Crossroads of Peace” project, an important component of which is the “TRIPP route”.
Minister Mirzoyan also outlined the unprecedented dynamics in the deepening of the partnership between Armenia and the European Union. The prospects for further development of relations, including the expansion of cooperation within the framework of the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda, strengthening economic and people-to-people ties and advancing democratic institutions were touched upon.
An exchange of views took place on the challenges on the path of democratic development, in the context of which Minister Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s approaches to effectively overcoming them.
Minister Mirzoyan also answered other questions of interest raised by the participants.
