On September 26, in New York, within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs Felipe Paullier.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the cooperation between Armenia and the UN Youth Office, expressing their willingness to promote through joint efforts the equal and full involvement of youth in all spheres of public life, including peacebuilding.

Touching upon  the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be held in Yerevan in 2026, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia underlined the importance of cooperation with the UN Youth Office to amplify the voice of young people on biodiversity-related issues.
