On September 24, in New York, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan participated and delivered remarks at the Ministerial-level Side Event on "Women, Peace and Security".

The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated the commitment of the Government of Armenia to ensuring full and equal engagement of women in peace and security, conflict prevention and post-conflict processes.

Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan drew the attention of the participants to the Third National Action Plan on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also highlighted the importance of the cooperation with international partners within the framework of advancing the “Women, Peace and Security” agenda.
