Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the OPCW Director-General

On September 18, in The Hague, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Fernando Arias, Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
The interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the OPCW. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia attaches great importance to the activities of the Organisation, as well as to Armenia’s active engagement in the implementation of the OPCW mandate, through effective international cooperation and the application of existing expertise.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Fernando Arias exchanged views on the steps undertaken to address ongoing and emerging challenges in the dynamically evolving context of international relations.
Issues on the application of artificial intelligence were also touched upon.
