On September 16, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Bertrand Buchwalter, Advisor to the President of France for Continental Europe and Turkey.

The interlocutors touched upon the bilateral relations between Armenia and France, commanding the active and ongoing political dialogue conducted at the highest level, as well as the effective and evolving cooperation in areas of strategic importance.

The sides held an in-depth discussion on issues of mutual interest within the regional and international agenda.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed on the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, expressing high appreciation for France’s efforts toward establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
