On August 28, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Nepal Arzu Rana Deuba.

Minister Mirzoyan presented the details of the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8. Arzu Deuba congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on this important milestone on the path toward establishing lasting peace in the region.

Referring to the Joint Declaration signed by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, Minister Mirzoyan particularly emphasized the importance of the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” initiative in the context of expanding regional connectivity.

The interlocutors discussed opportunities for enhancing cooperation between Armenia and Nepal, in this regard emphasizing the importance of mutual visits at the political level.

During the phone conversation, views were also exchanged on cooperation on multilateral platforms.
