On August 11, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman, who was in Yerevan for Armenia-Oman political consultations.

Minister Mirzoyan and Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Alharthy exchanged views on new opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

Referring to the outcomes of the meetings held in Washington last week, Minister Mirzoyan presented the Armenian side’s perspectives on the international situation and the vision for establishing lasting peace in the region.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Alharthy congratulated the Armenian Foreign Minister on the historic event, reaffirming Oman’s supportive stance towards efforts to establish lasting peace and stability in the region.
