On July 22, in the framework of the working visit to Montenegro, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimović.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on Armenia-Montenegro bilateral relations and touched upon issues on the opportunities for further deepening cooperation, particularly  in the field of information technologies

Deputy Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan briefed the Foreign Minister of Montenegro on the strong commitment of the Government of Armenia to deepening relations with the EU, as well as the recent achievements in the Armenia-EU bilateral agenda. The Deputy Minister noted that Montenegro's substantial progress in European integration and its valuable experience in this direction are highly important  to Armenia. The sides agreed to continue cooperation on matters of mutual interest regarding European integration.

During the meeting, regional developments were also discussed. Vahan Kostanyan briefed his counterparts on the current situation regarding  the Armenia-Türkiye and Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization processes, reaffirming the Government of Armenia’s commitment to strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
