Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan participated and delivered remarks at the round table discussion on “Revitalizing international development cooperation”
01 July, 2025On July 1, in Seville, on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development, Deputy Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan participated and delivered remarks at the round table discussion entitled “Revitalizing international development cooperation”.
In his remarks the Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring sustainable and long-term international support for the development of the least developed, landlocked and small island developing countries.
The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated the commitment of Armenia towards the implementation of the “Compromiso de Sevilla”, outcome document adopted at the Conference and emphasized the need for strong political will from all member states to build a better and more sustainable future.
Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan presented the vision of Armenia for the successful organization of the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), to be held in Yerevan in 2026, emphasizing concerted efforts of all stakeholders in implementing the first global review of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework commitments.
