On June 19, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting with Beate Andrees, the Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia of the International Labour Organization.

During the meeting, the Armenia-ILO cooperation agenda was discussed, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for sustainable development and a just transition.

The interlocutors commended Armenia's active engagement within the ILO framework, particularly in the context of ILO conventions ratification, engagement of tripartite partners of government-workers-employer organizations, and promotion of social dialogue.

The ongoing preparatory work for the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be hosted by Armenia in 2026 was touched upon.
