On May 27, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Saeed Khatibzadeh, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Head of the Center for Political and International Studies of the MFA of Iran.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Iran. They touched upon the ongoing steps towards implementation of concrete projects.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Saeed Khatibzadeh touched upon the cooperation between the “Yerevan Dialogue” and “Tehran Dialogue” international forums organized in Armenia and Iran, respectively.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran exchanged views on regional developments and efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability. Both sides emphasized the principled approach regarding unconditional respect for territorial integrity and the inviolability of borders.
