Meeting between the Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro

On May 27, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Filip Ivanović, Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro. The meeting took place in the framework of the “Yerevan Dialogue” international forum.

Minister Mirzoyan expressed his gratitude to Filip Ivanović for accepting the invitation to participate in the “Yerevan Dialogue” forum, emphasizing that the active exchange of visits reflects the strong political dialogue between Armenia and Montenegro and their shared commitment to expanding cooperation.

Building on their meeting held in Yerevan in March, Minister Mirzoyan and Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović discussed the implementation of initiatives aimed at developing sectoral cooperation. The positive results achieved in the field of tourism were noted with satisfaction, while high technologies, information technologies, healthcare, and the economy were identified as areas with promising potential for further development.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro also exchanged views on cooperation with the European Union and engagement within the framework of the European Political Community.

Efforts aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus were also touched upon, in the context of which Minister Mirzoyan underscored the importance of signing the Peace Treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
