Newly Appointed Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan handed over the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia

On May 26, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received Kubanychbek Bokontaev, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Armenia (residence: Moscow), on the occasion of handing over the copy of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment,the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed hope that he will contribute significantly to strengthening relations between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan and expanding the bilateral agenda.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to interstate relations, with particular emphasis on the need for joint steps to fully realize the existing potential in various areas. Both sides noted with satisfaction the intensification of cooperation this year between the foreign affairs agencies and legislative bodies of the two countries.

Mnatsakan Safaryan presented Armenia’s vision for achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus, as well as the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative developed by the Armenian government. The parties also touched upon regional and international developments of mutual interest.
