Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Poland

On May 22, in Yerevan, political consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Poland. Delegations were headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan and Undersecretary of State of Foreign Affairs of Poland Marek Pravda.

During the consultations, the parties touched upon a wide range of issues of the Armenia-Poland bilateral agenda and highlighted the importance of political dialogue and bilateral high-level visits between the two countries.

The parties touched upon Armenia-European Union relations, Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and a number of issues on the Armenia-European Union partnership.

Views were exchanged on the importance of exploring and sharing experiences on European integration.

International and regional developments were also discussed during the meeting. Deputy Minister Kostanyan presented recent developments of the peace process and the importance of signing the Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the effective unblocking of regional communications.
