Ambassador of Armenia to Cyprus presented her Credentials to President of the country

On May 2, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Cyprus Inna Torgomyan presented her credentials to President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides.

Welcoming and congratulating the newly appointed Ambassador on the assumption of her duties, President Christodoulides wished her every success and a productive tenure. He underscored the importance of appointing resident Ambassadors in both Armenia and Cyprus as a key step toward further strengthening the close relations between the two countries. The President commended the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Cyprus and emphasized the importance to fully realize the potential of sectoral cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Ambassador Torgomyan conveyed the message and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan to the President and people of Cyprus. The Ambassador reiterated her commitment to spare no effort towards strengthening the historically rooted friendly relations between the two countries, further deepening collaboration in areas of mutual interest, as well as the close cooperation within the EU framework.

The Ambassador also outlined Armenia's perspective on regional developments reaffirming the steadfast commitment of Armenia to promoting peace and stability in the region.
