On April 28, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received Li Xinwei, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia, on the occasion of handing over the copy of credentials.

Deputy Foreign Minister Safaryan congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on the assumption of his mission and wished him success in promoting the further development of bilateral ties/relations, expressing readiness to provide utmost support.

The parties commended the dynamic development of relations between Armenia and China since the establishment of diplomatic relations, highlighting the historically established friendship between the two peoples.

Both sides emphasized their shared commitment to activate/enhance the political dialogue and foster multi sectoral cooperation between the two countries.

The interlocutors exchanged views on regional developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.
