Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Slovakia

On December 11, in Brussels, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Juraj Blanár, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia.

During the meeting, ways of developing cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest were discussed. The interlocutors stated the importance of an active Armenian-Slovak political dialogue and high-level mutual visits in order to expand it.

The agenda of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Slovakia included issues on deepening the Armenia-EU partnership and comprehensive cooperation in various fields.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Juraj Blanár touched upon the security situation in the South Caucasus and the latest developments in the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations. Minister Mirzoyan stressed the importance of refusing the practice of use of force or the threat of use of force by Azerbaijan, its return to the negotiation process and continuing negotiations on a peace treaty in accordance with widely known principles.
